After landing in Thiruvananthapuram, get welcomed by our representative at the airport/railway station. The representative will help you get transferred to Kovalam which is 15 km away from Thiruvananthapuram. Proceed with the check-in formalities at the hotel in Kovalam and relax for a while. The rest of the day is at leisure. You can visit the Kovalam Beach and acknowledge practices like sunbathing, swimming, home developed body rubs and a couple of others. Return back to the hotel in Kovalam for overnight stay.
Wake up with a delicious breakfast and get ready to go on a city tour of Trivandrum. Visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple built in the 16th-century with an intricate fusion of the indigenous kovil architecture. Head towards The Napier Museum, an Art and Natural History Museum that host historical artefacts including bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot and ivory carvings. Next, witness the collection of paintings representing the various genres of paintings in India, along with a few from other parts of Asia at Sri Chitra Art Gallery. Next head towards Veli Lake, a scenic lake, with a beach, playground, floating cafe & sculptures, plus activities such as boating. Head back to Kovalam to enjoy the sunset at the beach. After Breakfast, check out from the hotel, drive to Alleppey and embark on your private houseboat and cruise on the Backwaters. The splendid area is full of canals, lakes, and coves. Check-in to your houseboat upon arrival in Alleppey. After check-in, enjoy a delicious lunch with the sound of water rippling as your houseboat makes its way through the backwaters. You can enjoy and observe the palm-fringed landscape from your houseboat. Apart from the mesmerizing surroundings, it's the life along the backwaters that makes this a fascinating experience. Enjoy the dinner with a mesmerizing view of the backwaters. Overnight stay on Houseboat.
After having breakfast at the houseboat, you will head to the wonderful Kumarakom. This town is a gathering of flawless little islands on the Vembanad Lake, Kerala’s greatest lake in South India. It offers a beautiful viewpoint of the emerald green backwaters of Kerala flanked by rich vegetation and paddy fields. When you touch base at Kumarakom, register with the inn and take some rest. In the evening, you will be taken for boating along the lake and bird watching at the sanctuary. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Wake up in the morning, have breakfast and pack your bags for departure to Kochi. On the way, go sightseeing and if time permits visit the Cochin fort, Marine drive, etc. Reach Kochi railway station/ airport and depart to your destination with a plethora of memories.
